Camp workers are in the process of installing a nice array of solar powered services at San Angelo State Park. As you can see, it is quite an impressive install.
I did not talk to anyone about the set up but I sure do like what I see. I am not sure it is yet operational but it is all wired and ready to go. Maybe I can learn more about it before I leave.
UPDATE: November 25, 2011: I found this news release in regards to the solar panel farm at several state parks in Texas.
It is Thanksgiving here and while there has been several campers and visitors come in to enjoy their holiday at this state park, there are no crowds or noise. It is peace on Earth. Just happy campers.
I hope You and Yours have enjoyed some good time to visit and relax and enjoy a meal or two. Take care.

Love the picture of the Camp Inn Teardrop trailer. I almost bought one of those, they are really well built.
